Quadricentennial Deals
In honor of New York’s Hudson∙Fulton∙Champlain Quadricentennial, we’ve pulled up just a few of the countless attractions and events offering special deals this fall. Take a look at the selection to the right, and for full listings check out the websites below.
A Bit About the Quad
Celebrate with us this year as we inaugurate the 400th anniversaries of the voyage of English Captain Henry Hudson, who led (for the Dutch) the first European expedition to sail up the river that now bears his name, and Frenchman Samuel de Champlain, the first European to gaze upon the waters of the namesake lake. To inaugurate these simultaneous quadricentennials – as well as the 200th anniversary of Robert Fulton’s maiden journey up the Hudson River on the first successful steamboat – New York State is joining in the festivities with over 400 deals, discounts and free things to do, giving New Yorkers (and all travelers) another reason to love New York.
